UD (Nablusi Interpretation)

If a single person sees an ud in a dream, it means getting married. If a married person sees a lute, it signifies a child. Abu Saidu'l-Vaaz said: Seeing yourself playing the oud in your dream signifies a statement that contradicts the truth. Listening to the oud is also described as such. Seeing yourself playing the oud in your own house in your dream is a sign of suffering a calamity. Seeing your bowstring break while playing the lute in your dream signifies getting rid of sadness, grief and sorrow. If a person sees himself playing the oud at the door of the leader of Muslims in a dream, it indicates custody and sultanate, if he is competent. If he is not competent, this dream is a sign of lying. If a cruel man sees himself playing the oud in a dream, it means that he will make a people groan with his cruelty.
