TO REMEDY INsomnia (Tiflisi Interpretation)

Falahu's-Sail, it is narrated that Imam Ali said: "Hazrat Fatima (s.a.) complained about insomnia in the presence of the Prophet (s.a.a). This Then our Prophet asked him to say the following sentence:

يا مُشْبِعَ الْبُطُونِ الْجآئِعَةِ وَ يا كاسِىَ God bless you, God bless you I'm sorry الضّارِبَةِ وَ أذِنْ لَعَيْني نَوْماً عاجِلاً

Yâ muşbial butûnil câi'ah, ve ya kasiye nucumil âriyeh, ve ya musekkinel urûqiz zâribeh, ve ya munevvimel uyunis sâhirah, sekkin urûqiz zâribeh, ve ezin leaynî nevmen âcilâ.

[O the one who feeds the hungry stomachs, the one who clothes the naked bodies, the one who calms the beating veins and the one who puts awake eyes to sleep! Calm down my beating veins and allow my eye to sleep urgently.]

Similarly, in el-Fakih, it is narrated from Imam Cafer Sadık (a.s): "Whenever you are close to insomnia, say the following before going to sleep:

سُبْحانَ اللهِ ذي الشَّأْنِ دآئِمِ السُّلْطانِ عَظيمِ الْبُرْهانِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ في الشَّأْنِ

Subhânallâhi zişşe'n, dâimis sultân, azîmil burhân, kulle yevmin huve fişşe'n.

[Glory be to God, whose glory is eternal and whose sovereignty is clear. He is in a (new) job every day.]

Mekarimu'l-Ahlak that; "Before going to sleep, read Ayetel Kursi and say the following:

إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّن السَّمَاء مَاء لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم God bless you, God bless you. عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِْنا نَوْمَكُمْ سُباتاً

Iz yuğaşşîkum nu'âse emeneten minhu aleykum mines semâi mâen liyutahhirakum bihi ve yuzhibe ankumur riczeşşeytân ve liyerbita alâ qulûbikum ve yusebbite bihil aqdâm. Ve ce'alnâ nevmekum subâtâ.

"That time of the day when He caused you to fall into a light sleep to give you security and sent down rain from the sky to purify you and remove the filth of Satan from you and strengthen your hearts and strengthen your feet and increase your fortitude.[42] "And We made your sleep a rest for you."[43]
