Mekarimu'l-Ahlak; "To prevent sleepiness, read this verse into water; wash your hands, face and arms with that water:
) رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ موسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ(
And lemmâ câe mûsâ limîqâtinâ ve kellemehu rabbehu qâle rabbi erinî enzur ileyk, qâle len terânî ve lâkininzur ilel cebel, fe-inisteqarra Mekanehu fe-sevfe terânî, felemmâ tecellâ rabbehu lilcebeli ce'alehu deken ve harra mûsâ sa'iqan felemmâ efâqa qâle subhâneke tubtu ileyke ve ene evvelul mu'minîn.
"When Moses came at the appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said to me, 'My Lord,' Come and let me look at you. He said, 'You cannot see me, but look at this mountain, if it stands still, you can see me.' Then, when his Lord appeared to the mountain, it collapsed and Moses fell down in a faint. When he came to himself, he said, 'I have repented to you, and I am the first of those who believe.'
