REED (Nablusi Interpretation)

Seeing that you have many reeds with you in your dream indicates that you will obtain something with little effort. Seeing that you have a reed in your hand and leaning on it in your dream indicates that you have a short life left. Seeing trellises made of Persian reeds, grape sticks and other things in your dream signifies getting rid of sadness and grief and abundant sustenance. Sometimes this dream indicates the revelation of secrets, complimenting servants, telling lies and doing things for show. Seeing sugar cane in a dream indicates sustenance earned through effort and hardship, and sometimes a fight on the street or in places where the cane is seen. Sometimes this dream signifies a clean and honorable generation, or the "Ilm-i Tawhid", which is the basis of every good deed, or fulfilling the obligations of fasting and prayer, or the servants of the head of state. If a person sees in his dream that the reed has some branches and twigs made of gold, silver or emerald, it indicates the halal wealth he will attain in this world, the pure wife and entering heaven with his children, going down to the heavenly mansions and his good and righteous deeds that require sitting under their domes turning to the Fihrist. If a sick man or a prisoner sees his reed peeled and its bark removed in a dream, it signifies salvation and healing. If a person sees himself chewing sugar cane in a dream, it indicates something that needs to be talked about a lot. However, his speech is pleasant and sweet. Nablusî said: "- A person who sees himself squeezing sugarcane or something else that can be squeezed in his dream and possessing the squeezed things without being touched by fire will attain cheapness and abundance. In the interpretation of such a dream, only the distress and juice of the squeezed thing are considered valid." Sometimes seeing sugarcane in a dream is a sign of sustenance obtained from a stingy man. The reed seen in the dream is interpreted as follows: The nodes in the reed signify days, months, or years. Sometimes the reed is a sign that the thing that left his hand while he was awake will return to him.
