PRAYERS REACHED AFTER WAKE UP FROM SLEEP (Tiflisi Interpretation)

According to a narration in Sevabu'l-Âmâl, our Prophet (s.a.a) used to read the following prayers before sleeping and after waking up:

Before sleeping:

بِسْمِكَ اللهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَ أَحْيا

After waking up:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ أَحْيانا بَعْدَ مآ أَماتَنا وَ إلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

Elhamdu lillâhillezî ehyânâ ba'de mâ emâtenâ ve ilehyin nuşûr.

[Praise be to Allah who resurrected us after death. let it be; our return is to Him.]

Muhasebetu'n-Nefs from Imam Cafer Sadık (a.s): "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.a) woke up from sleep. When he woke up, he would prostrate himself before putting his miswak on the edge of his bed. When he woke up, he would brush his teeth with it. It is also narrated in Mekarimu'l-Ahlak "When our Prophet woke up from sleep, he would say:

سُبْحانَ الَّذي يُحْيى الْمَوْتَى وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَديرٌ

Subhânellezî yuhyil mevtâ ve huve alâ kulli şey'in qadir.

[Surely Allah is the one who resurrects the dead; He is capable of everything.]

Again, it is narrated in Mekarimu'l-Ahlak that; "Every night, when our Prophet (pbuh) woke up for the night prayer, he would read the following prayer, then brush his teeth and perform ablution:

Alhamdu lilâhi nûris semâvâti vel supply, vel hamdu lillâhi qayyûmis semâvâti vel supply, vel hamdu lillâhi rabbis semâvâti vel bilginne, intellectual haq ve qavlukel haq ve liqâuke haq, vel paradise haq, ven naru haq, ves sa'atu haq, Allahumme lek eslemtu ve bike âmentu ve aleyke tevekkeltu ve ileyke enebtu ve bike hâsamtu ve ileyke hakemtu, feğfirlî mâ qaddemtu ve ahhartu ve ma esrertu ve ma a'lentu, ente ilahî, lâ ilâhe illâ ent."

[Praise be to Allah, the light of the earth and the skies, Praise be to Allah, who sustains the earth and the skies, Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the earth and the skies and those in them. You are true, your word is true, meeting you is true, heaven is true, hell is true and the apocalypse is true. O Allah, I have surrendered to you, I have believed, I have put my trust in you and I have turned (from my sins). With you I have resisted the enemy and I have made you the judge (of my affairs), so what I have done in the past will be done in the future.
