PLEDGE (Nablusi Interpretation)

Seeing yourself held hostage in a dream indicates many sins and bad deeds. Because on the Day of Judgment, people will be held hostage because of their bad deeds. Sometimes, seeing a hostage indicates being addicted to love and affection. Seeing something left as a pledge in a dream signifies injustice and oppression towards others. Seeing yourself pawning a beautiful thing in exchange for a bad thing in your dream indicates that you will be dependent on the affection of a contemptible person and your value will decrease.
