Seeing oppression by someone in power in a dream is interpreted as ruin and destruction of countries. Sometimes, seeing cruelty committed by scholars or people who know how to read the Quran in a dream is interpreted as God's forgiveness. Some commentators said that anyone who sees himself being cruel in his dream becomes poor. A person who sees himself confessing his cruelty in a dream repents to Allah.
