Imam Cafer Sadık (a.s): There are six expressions of seeing a knife:

1-Muhabbet

2-Son

3-Victory

6-Management.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing that you have a knife in your hand and knowing that this knife belongs to you; that you will have a boy...

Seeing that you have some weapons along with a knife in your hand; indicates that you will gain respect.

Cabir Mağribî: To unsheath the knife; that your spouse will give birth to a son…

Seeing your knife break while in its sheath; that one of your relatives will pass away…

Seeing that you are carving something with a knife; indicates that you will do a job without getting paid…

Seeing that your knife is rusted or damaged; indicates that your property will decrease.
