Dreaming, which is still a subject of study by scholars, is an undeniable fact that it plays an important role in human life.
Dream consists of a number of thoughts and dreams that appear in the mind during sleep, which is a natural need of every human being. The person who sees the dream
thinks that he really lives in this dream world.
Numerous dreams that people see while sleeping, which are not similar to each other,
sometimes repeating the events that have already occurred, sometimes seeing things that are desired to happen, as well as absurd, abnormal things that the mind cannot
understand, are also seen.
There is no person who does not dream. There are only people who cannot remember their dreams
after waking up.
Such an issue that concerns all people needs a broad and consistent
explanation. Unfortunately, due to its nature, it is not possible to say objective things. Because a dream is a very abstract event, like the soul.
Although thought and mind are abstract entities, they are not at the level of a dream. Based on their results, it is possible to comprehend thought and mind, to examine and present them. But it is not possible to say the same for
dreams.
Dream is an important part of spiritual life.
A person's whole life can be gathered into a dream
just like a walnut shell.
Dream is a spiritual event that activates the imagination of human beings after they begin to know themselves.
We take it from a work written by Countess Sirkof about dreams. The following
lines are noteworthy:
"Some believe that dreams consist of a number of delusions and anxieties created by the human imagination. However, this is a wrong
belief. When a person sleeps, the soul that is freed from the bonds of the corpse certainly plays a big role.
Dreams are the thoughts of the waking man, a secret force creates them.
For our good, every dream has a meaning and a unique interpretation."
Ancient Egyptians, Guldanis and Hebrews believed that dreams foretold the future and that dreams were a magical force. They made dream interpretation a branch of knowledge and expanded it considerably.
The story of Prophet Yusuf is the most obvious evidence of this.
Hz. When Yusuf was a child, he dreamed that eleven stars, the sun and the moon were prostrating to him, and the next day he told this to his father, Jacob, who interpreted this dream and told him about it. He asked him to keep this secret from his brothers for now, saying that Yusuf would reach a great position and that his eleven brothers and his parents would bow down to him with respect.
Years passed and Hz. Joseph rose to a great position in the palace of the Egyptian Pharaoh, thanks to his dreams that were interpreted and came true. As stated in the famous story, his brothers and parents who came to Egypt bowed their heads in the presence of him, and thus the dream he had as a child became reality. In ancient times, people who attached great importance to dreams tried to benefit from them. So much so that they would not even go to war without getting the appropriate results from dream interpreters.
Alexander the Great always had several dream interpreters with him during his campaigns.
He would have them interpret the dreams he had and act accordingly. According to a
narration, when the capture of a city he had besieged took longer, he wanted to give up on it, but when the commentators who interpreted a dream he had at that time said that victory was close, he continued the war and his dream came true and he conquered the castle...
The dream should be considered from two aspects.
a) Faith. in terms of
b) Through science.
When we consider dreams according to belief, we come across three types of dreams.
1- Rahmani (true) dreams.
2- Satanic dreams.
3- Dreams that occur under the influence of daily events or as a result of body discomfort.
Let's explain them one by one:
1- Rahmani Dreams are the good news of Almighty Allah. They are
dreams that he inspires into the souls of sleeping people through angels, with the nature of

He makes his servants see these dreams in order to give information to Allah Almighty or as a sign about future events.
Some of the revelations sent down by Allah Almighty came to our Prophet (pbuh)
through such dreams.
These dreams are true. and it is necessary to believe in them.
