CITY (Nablusi Interpretation)

If a person sees himself entering a city in a dream, it signifies being sure of what he fears. Hazrat Ibn Sirin said: Seeing a big city or town in a dream signifies good things, no matter what. Seeing yourself in a city you do not know at all in your dream signifies achieving your desires and desires. Kirmani said: He who sees himself in Mecca in his dream will attain relief and glory. Seeing yourself developing a city in your dream indicates that there will be an increase in scholars and saints in that city and that their children will continue their careers and paths. Ibn Sirin (rh.a.) said: "Thereupon (Moses) left there, fearful (and watching around)." (Qasas, 21) Return to the index as per the verse above. Entering the city in a dream is good and pleasant. Leaving the city is not pleasant. Seeing an unrecognized city in a dream signifies the afterlife, and seeing a well-known city signifies religion for the dreamer. Sometimes, the city indicates a scholarly person, according to the hadith: "I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate". Seeing yourself entering Damascus in your dream signifies abundance, goodness and relief for the person who is in trouble and distress. Sometimes seeing Damascus is a sign of discord. Seeing believers and Muslims from the people of a city in your dream signifies achievement of your goal, good news and joy. Seeing the field where the battle of Badr took place in the dream: "Indeed, Allah gave you a sufficient victory in (Badr) while you were weak and paralyzed." (Âl-i İmran, 123) According to the meaning of the verse, it indicates victory over the enemy and ample sustenance. Seeing Huneyn in your dream signifies getting rid of sadness and grief after violence. Seeing the castle of a city destroyed in a dream indicates the death or dismissal of one of the elders of that city. Again, seeing in a dream that the castle of a city is pierced and predatory animals such as lions, wolves and tigers enter through it, and that it is attacked by floods and thieves, indicates weakness and calamity that will afflict the Muslim people or those who seek knowledge.
